What we do with the information you give us through this website.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Who we are
Stonegate Infrastructure Ltd (Stonegate Infrastructure) is a specialist highways maintenance company based in Colchester, Essex, operating across Essex and the East of England. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website.
You can contact us about this notice at hello@stonegateinfrastructure.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us through the enquiry form: your name, organisation, email address, telephone number (if you provide one), the enquiry type you select and the content of your message.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiling cookies or third-party marketing pixels on this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to progress a business discussion you have initiated. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — namely responding to a business enquiry that you have sent us — and, where a discussion proceeds, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unrelated material as a result of submitting an enquiry.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is delivered to us by email. We use the following processors to operate this website and receive enquiries:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and serverless function execution
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — transactional email delivery
- Our email provider, for receiving and storing correspondence
These providers process data on our instructions under contract. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, that transfer is made under appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting business relationship. Where an enquiry does not progress, we delete the correspondence within 24 months. Where it does, records are retained in line with our commercial and legal obligations.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered to a controlled mailbox. We apply access controls proportionate to the nature of the information held.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your personal data
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing of it
- Request that we transfer your data to another provider
To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@stonegateinfrastructure.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
